    Rxp vs Rxpx

What mods do have to have done to out accalerate an x ski? Obviously the 215 with stage 1 has a higher top speed than the x but what good does that do if your raning a stock x and he take you for 3 boats lenghts from the start. Stage 2 or 3? what will do it?

I would GUESS stage 2 because it is said that the X is stage 2 from factory. So maybe stage 2 to be even, and stage 3 to be faster? I'm not really sure, but just my input.

the supersoaker kit is what i'd get...

This info is from the Riva forums...take it with a grain of salt. Results may vary, and many factors could contribute to affecting these numbers.

    0~60mph: 3.88 seconds

My stage 1 04 rxp pulls away from the stock rxp-x pretty quick.

to me the difference in the x skis to others is the hookup. I have not been able to get any prop spin (on the X) at hole shot which results in moving forward instead of sitting still. I think that if you can get your ski ( any non x rxp and rxt) to hook up and not spin then the match is much closer and will be more even with less hp input. imo

Im noticing a lot of what I guess is prop spin on my stock rxp. Doesnt seem to want to hook up and jump out of the hole all that good. Would this be improved alot with a stg 1 kit?

NO! Never try to fix a problem by adding mods. Fix the problem first then add mods. You don't want to have more variables on your hands than you can deal with.

    Check your wear ring.
