After some big surf on the weekend my steering is now out, whats the correct way of adjusting it. Thanks in advance.

Buy a service manual and go to page 12-5

Everyone should have a service manual !

But anyway, on the steering nozzle, there is a rod end bearing, unbolt from nozzle, loosen lock nut on PP cable, adjust in direction you need.

Use a tape measure for end of bars to equal fixed points on the ski so you can ensure the handle bars are straight. Then measure from the side of the nozzle on either side and adjust the adjustment bolt until you have equal distance on either side.

I used some masking tape to hold the handle bars straight after I trued them up before touching the nozzle.

I think that the currents and waves have an effect on the ski seeming to pull to a side also.

Deep V's lean into the wind

Although this is a rather small hull and not a very radical deep V, it still
will perform as all deep V hulls do and lean into the wind. On regular boats you have trim tabs to compensate.

Yes the fine adjustment to adjust the steering, not the big brass one

The one at the nozzle....nut behind the heim joint bolted to the nozzle. I think 6mm as memory serves.

Yay on the Service Manual!!! You'll now be able to contribute to the forum better!!!!

    EVERYONE should have one.
