    Australian racing

We just had the Queensland state titles and the ultra250's cleaned up!

The event was held on Moreton Bay at Redcliffe by the Brisbane Jetsports Club. The racing was closed course.

The ultra 250's won stock, vets and open classes. Everything they were entered in.

James Masterton ran his new Mac hulled turbo 250 and won. Anthony Antees on a Les Cooke turbo seadoo gti looked as fast but better handling but broke an oil cooler fitting. Ant probably would have won through having a better setup and sheer ability if he didn't break. However, it was Mastertons first race on the turbo ultra so he can only get faster with more bum on seat time and boat development.

Joel Batt won stock class on a 250 and so did Johnny Hollett in veterans.

    I got 2nd in vets.

It was pretty cool to see the kawi's beat the highly regarded rxpx's.

This is just a visual observation so don't take it as gospel.

The Mac hull has 15f/96xp style strakes to give more lift. They are bigger than stock and go all the way to the transom without tapering off.

I think it takes 15f rideplates.

it also has a "keel ridge" forewards kind of like a gpr to get the bow to turn in agressively.

On the track, it seemed a bit "loose" as in it had plenty of lift. It hopped a bit out of the tight turns but this would have been cured with a pull on the trim tab lever. It was a cable system and James said that the effort required to pull it on under power was excessive. He's going to install a pneumatic system to cure this.

Time to hit the weights Skip....PUMP It up.....Roids??? Just dont take a corney picture posing next to your ski flexing your juiced up body...

Just a few observations...Have you since removed the stickers from the hull...The saftey stickers? your ski is so hot, even the water on the trailer is trying to escape... Ski looks great!
