    Raider Kevin's LH 1300 BB

Well it was time to get started assembling Kevin's motor for him. He bought this awhile back ago from Neal. It was a Lowell ported 1300 motor with ported cases no head. It had a bad cylinder that needed re nicked and we had new gas valves cut and an OEM head machined. The cases were in good condition and the crank had 16 hours on it. Kevin had cleaned the cases and packaged it. I opened them today and started inspecting the cases and crank in preparation to mount the pistons and cylinders, thats when I saw a little issue. Heat marks on the front crank arm. here is some pics of what I found. Looks like the crank is going to crankworks for a little rebuild. The debris on the rag is from between the rear seals.

Check out the PTO bearing betwen the crank arm and the bearing.

All the parts are in finally. Thanks to Spud for making a pitstop at Pro-Tec and picking up the crank for me

Had Pro-Tec R&R the rear bearing on the crank, then had it indexed and trued and welded. also in the pics is a New Crankworks HD Mag bearing and a George Grabowski Lightened and Balanced OEM flywheel. now the fun begins.

Still need to lap the flywheel, Waiting on a head gasket to come in from Lowell tomorrow. Then I will apply a few water tricks WFO gave me. I can't pressure test yet as I loaned my gauge out and it has not returned yet. I can use my old set-up but I can only test the motor side with that, I want to test the water jackets also.
