    I bet it moves pretty well ... They talk about SeaDoo hull delamination... maybe it's a "second" run fix.

    You are correct, Vern. There are two ventilated steps. The center 14" of the hull are not stepped, as that would introduce air into the jet pump intake path. That 14" wide and 6" long center is flat like a ski which will enable very high speeds but also pound a bit in choppy water. Since it is only 14" wide and the steps drop away about three inches at the stern, I am hoping she will carve in the turns like a water ski does rather than skip like most shallow deadrise boats tend to do. It will be interesting to see how this will turn out.
