    another one bites the dust

so today me and a few buddies went out, he has a 05 rxp with 70hrs on it, both skis were (WOT) and his cut out. tryed to start it back up and it was locked up,pulled the plugs and the middle plug was smacked by the piston, mind you his ski is bone stock. what could of caused this ? all the plugs we pulled looked really brunt and the motor was really hot.

also if you have anyone that could help him out please pm me.

I think you would need a new piston and new plugs. let the engine cool down and don't touch it. Did you guys have fun?

quite possibly dropped the head off a valve which has locked it all up.
if the ski is not winterized correctly and left sitting the valve stems can get rusty weakening them and eventually they snap off!
otherwise timing chain may have broken but until you remove the rocker cover you wont know.

you folking crack me up . dose sound like a dropped valve or timing chain. sorry to say but thats not good. full rebuild . fog fog fog even after every use especially if you are in a humid environment. if you haven't got a fog kit in it GET ONE and give a spray after every use (make sure you give a little rev when spraying to actually get through to the head)and your valves will stay all moist and toasty.

how bout this for a guess:

ceramic washer deto'd. Pcs got stuck in timing chain..which broke or skipped. Valve hit piston. Pcs of valve smashed spark plug. Mess in engine.

thats my story an ahm stickin to it.

let us know when it's torn down.

Well, I would BET on this scenario since the ski in question is in Vegas and it was wot prolly skipped on lake mead when the washer failed taking out the chain......u ain't goin' no where when that happens. A thrown rod will do this too, but usually ventilates the block as well as oiling down the bilge

Sometimes when water intrudes a cylinder the plug will look as if it has been hit.
