    xpl 951 motor drop in help

    do i really need to use the allignment tool to put back my stock motor in? ive had people tell me no just drop it in and wiggle it around till its in, and other people tell me yea i need to use it...my question is does it mater?

    You want it to be aligned so it doesn't chew up and or break the couplers. Use a feeler guage(s) between the couplers and make sure they're equal on at least 4 sides. Hope this helps...

    When I pulled mine out I just marked where the mounts were, would that work?
