Wedge Install~~bucket Mod
I just installed a RIVA 2' Pump Wedge and was looking at the Jet Pump Nozzle water exit path. It appears that it will hit the Reverse Bucket lower edge., even when the bucket is fully raised.
Do most people cut out that small halve moon shape area on the lower part of the Reverse Bucket for clearence or am I mis-informed about the the Exit Nozzle water path ?

alot of us HAVE cut that part of the bucket off...
I can't HONESTLY say that you will see a gain in performance, but don't think it could hurt. All of us that did it were thinking the same thing as you...
I think that it can't hurt, it will take a SMALL portion of your reverse action, but I think the loss is negligable(did I spell that right?)
