RXT & Limited
Other than trim level, are there any differences between the 2?
I would like to have a 70+ mph ski so what are the simple bolt ons that it would take to achieve this without sacrificing reliability?
I followed Jerry's dad on his RXT and I was very impressed with it's performance. Made me start thinking. Sunday morning, we meet a guy with a blue Limited and my wife fell in love with it because of the color. Made her start thinking.
I have never had a S/D but have thought about it for a while and after riding Rideallday's RXP and seeing the RXT run, I am now convinced. My biggest fear was the reliability issues but it looks like S/D has overcome this.
I would appreciate any input.

Differences in performance?? NO. Limited is the RXT with all the bells and whistles. I own a 06 Limited myself, but Im a gadget freak. I like the extras, depth finder, GPS, are the biggest ones I like.

FYI, you can get the GTX SC LTD glove box lid replacement (for a Garmin GPS - I have the GPS 76C, it's v. good) and the depth guage (~$350 or so) for an RXT and install them after the fact. Dealer trip is needed to reprogram the mpem to show depth.
U also might want to wait until after the '07 models are announced in Sept. Word has it, a new SC clutch design might be appearing.
Shhhh - it's a secret!

The reason she wants the GTX is because of the color. If it was up to me, she would have the RXT. I am waiting to see what all the 07 models will be before I do anything anyway.
