    UMI Throttle QUESTION

installed the finger throttle on the stock bars and it's not pulling to full throttle even after the cable was adjusted properly, what are they thinking, is it supposed to be like this, what can i do to this $70 finger throttle to make it work

im getting angry becuase the UMI bars must be the same way since they are the same DIAM as stock, makes no sense to me, if the lever was farther away from the bars it might work better. You cant heat up and bend billet aluminum can you?

I torched the lever on my GTX and bent it with a pipe (well, a bike seat pole actually...but it worked)

    Just BARELY needs bent.

the angled one should work no problem at all... i've put two of them on

the straight ones dont get full pull without modification

the angled one is not working for me at all, even when i take the grip off to get a little more throw it still hits the bars before i see WOT.

i dont get it either. i'll get some pictures when i get home

its just like this except the grip is flush up againts the finger throttle mount (stock width), this trigger, which i cant find out who the manufacturer is or their website) looks like the lever is bent more allowing for more pull action

I have the angled one with UMI and ODI grips, I had to grind the inside of the lever to get the throttle fully open/closed
