    Unhappy bad wreck

my buddy and i were riding up oyster creek(freeport texas) yesterday when he wiped out bad. he has a stock gpr 2005. we ride this creek alot because of the calm water and winding turns. we rode up the creek 20 miles or so, rested and headed back. i went first, lots of trees hanging over creek and other obstacles, gators in the water. i took off, after about 10 miles i realized my buddy was not back there, went back and he was sitting on his ski, as i got closer i realized he had a big gash above his eye, scratched from head to toe and a 5 inch gash to the skull on the back of his head. he does not remember what happened, ski is scratched good but no major damage, i guy we coach with met us at a house near by and took him to the e.r. 12 stitches above left eye, 7 staples in the back of the head, road looking rash everywhere, scratches everywhere else, bruised leg, whiplash, but he walked away, kinda...not at work today..everyone please be safe.....

Man, sorry to hear about this. I wonder if the stock intake grate pitched him? We all need to be careful.

    intake grate

that might just be the case. he looks really bad, he must have slid across logs and stumps, the doctor pulled mud and pieces of leaves and sticks from the slash on the back of his head, on the good side, that stopped alot of blood loss which was minimum due to the mud being packed in the wound. very nasty looking *hit. lucky a hungry alligator did'nt eat him for lunch.
