    greenbox fitting into GTX SC!!!

dude , how did you guys get the greenbox into the GTX RXT hulls and get the J pipe to fit into the box and over the manifold bung. it took me hours!!!
i had to shove my box way back in to the rear corner of the hull, put the jpipe in then slide j pipe and box forward on to the manifold bung.
but then the exhaust coupler was too long to get onto the rear thru hull...
if i didnt have my 16 yr old neighbor with tiny arms there to jam his arm in there i would never have gotten it.
would a silicone coupler have been easier, are they more flexible?
my coupler hose was super tight , and super stiff. i thought if i could move the couper forward and back to center it on between the pipe and the exit, it might have been easier, but the hose i had was not sliding anywhere!!
was there a trick to getting the j pipe in i dont know about.
if i could have put the rear coupler onto the thru hull exit, and then put the J pipe in it would have been a thousand times easier, but the j pipe would not go into the box and onto the manifold bung with the rear coupler aligned.
just curious how you all did it in case i have to work on this int he future!!!

In my RXT left the coupler loose and the box loose. Then slipped the J pipe in position and secured in the water box (j pipe and water box now one unit. Then secured it to the mainfold. Secure the water box in place then the rear coupler.

It's a PITA but worth the effort. As Scotty says and a lot of push and pull. Be sure to try and get J-pipe as straight as possible to it's connection tighten everything up and re-strap the waterbox hold down.
