Sea Doo X series Stage 2

Dont give up on the X models anytime soon. My inside guys at Riva said the Stage 2 is gonna kick some serious @$$. Were taking 79-80GPS on a P-X with an ECU, Valve upgrade, Intake manifold mod and a prop. I was also told that the Riva Grate DOES fix the over stuffing issues on the P-X. A Stage 3 is also in the works.

    Holy Shit.......

We all know here that the X-Models are capable of running in the 80mph zone, but the question is how much is it going to cost...$$$$

How are you getting inside info, and how accurate is it? If it's true then great. How did they fix the overstuff, use a grate that closes off the inlet some? I hope they didn't. I hope they don't kill the holeshot just to get to 80mph either, i.e. closing of the inlet to the pump with the grate, and pinching the venturi way down.

I also spoke with someone from Riva the other day. He said the grate and prop by mid may. He said the grate fixed the oversuff problem to a little more than 80 mph after that there might be something in the works to relieve pump pressure. They did not close off the intake grate or sacrifice the hole shot. Sounds like they got the problem solved.
