    Tripple pies on 05-08 gpr?

    Can this be done?

Why would this not work ?

That is with keeping the oem efi throttlebodies.

The tripples need to run in the 7600+ rpm range to be in their torque curve. Less and the power would be close to the same as the OEM single. No one has produced an aftermarket ignition for the EFI boats and doesn't look like it will ever happen. Advent has threatened to for years but don't hold your breath. Your stock ignition limits the motor to 7400.

Then there is the lack of needed fuel etc..

I know this is going to get out of hand, but Mikel70 has come up with a solution and is running it on his ski right now. Once ski has the mapping done on the stock oem pipe, the tripples will go on.
On the bench, we got the tripples on the motor and it turned the efi setup to over 8000 rpms.
The hard part is getting the right mapping for the setup. Once the weather gets a little better, we will finish up the stock pipe and then go to the triples.

very cool shooter so he has no rev limiter ( or adjustable rev limit ) on his efi ski?

You've told us this in the past which is great but also said he has no intentions of of selling a kit or telling anyone else how he is doing it. Still confused how a one off mod far a single ski insuates a fix for everyone. Has something changed??

My guess would be a stand alone ignition for the spark and the stock EFI running the TBs. Essentially two brains for one motor. At least thats my guess.

Its called MSD. Pickups are just installed on the PTO side instead of the Mag. Coils are disconnected on the OEM ignition.
