how do i remove shaft from impeller on polaris 1200..i believe its a 2003.
I am trying to remove the impeller from the driveshaft. It appears to move back and forth (unlike my Yamaha) and I have already found some bad bearings and water dmg on my friends skis. Please let me know what you do to remove the shaft (if its even possible to do)...

There is an o-ring in there causing friction. Shoot some lubrication in there and give it a good pull.

Oh, with a year and model we can throw up a picture that will show the pump assembly and components. I just saw the year and engine size.
