    something wrong with the rxt-x

    2008 rxt-x with 5 hours. My top speed seems to be fine, however my holeshot from start acts like it doesnt want to go at first and then starts to pick also when I go to do a dounut it seems like its just bogging down. Ne ideas? The other day I let one of my friends drive it and he took off hard in real shallow water. Think it could of sucked something up?

    Check Your S/c Hoses And Clamps To See If It Loose And If Not Check Your Intake Grate And Pump For Any Debri...

    pump ingested something....dinged up prop(my guess)

    since that day my rpms have gone up 120rpms also

    Did you check your prop? Most likely the problem.

    I would lay off the dounut for a while untill you get back your speed.

    thats what happen to my RXP. i sucked up a rope with something on it, it bent the tip of one of the impeller blades and ate up my wear ring. i had no holeshot only top end. as soon as i changed them all my power came back. look inside the back of the ski and into the intake grate with a flashlight and see if there is wear in the wear ring or any dings on the impeller " look real close"
