Seadoo Pump On A Single Pipe Gpr

Well We Finished Testing Today, Jim, And Leo Busted There Asses . I Am Extremely Thankful That They Helped Me Acheive My Goals, But It Didnt Work. Not Enough Power.

Leo's Ski With The Ho Pump Hit 77.5
Then With The Seadoo Pump With A 4 Blade Hit 73.2

No Good. Well We Tried. It Is Definately The Way To Go On A Conversion But Not A True Gpr.

We All Are Burnt And Tired. Had Fun But Didnt Work . Oh Well

    Jason,
Are you guys going to try a smaller prop? Why not try a prop from a machine with a smaller prop that has less horsepower, it may still be more efficient than the yamaha varient and get the numbers and holeshot you want!

Ditto, need to know what the RPMs are before calling it a bust. Tuning the prop to achieve same RPMs and then recording speeds is what determines pump efficiency or not. If you can get his single to 7200 its going to push about anything IMO.

On a 13-18 4 blade it went 71.9 at 7420, on the limiter bigtime..
The next (different) 4 blade was steeper pitch 16-21 i believe, Jim pitched it up to 16-23 before installing it and it went 7320rpm at 73.2mph..
Then the 3 blade that i believe was the turbo engine impeller was too much, only could turn it 6500 rpms..
