Thumbs up WOW! What a powerhouse!!!

This was my first time out on the SLX 1050.
    I have a perma grin

What a powerhouse and I was just blown away with the acceleration up to 61.7 mph.

Truthfully, I was a little intimidated by the wholeshot after the warm up so will need to get better aquainted with the handling and such.

I can do just about anything on my XP, but this is very different.

Wait until you start modding it.
I wanted to add we won the World Finals on a 1050 back in 96 or 97, you can certainly turn up the heat.

Nic, our rider worked for Dave at Proto Pipes and they built a set of trippple pipes for it. Some Novi's, reeds and some other goodies and that engine would literally rip the bars right out of your hands.

    Ahhhh the good ole days.

LoL. Remember, this was just my first time out and I haven't gotten over it yet. Don't know if I could keep my composure if it were any quicker. But you know how we all change our tune after a few trips

LOL Yes I do. I'm going to keep an eye on this and see how you're doing in a month or so.
