Which 2 stroke oil to use?

I live in Canada toronto. I just want to know what 2 stroke oil to use.
    Maybe this 1? http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/pr...romSearch=true

Does it matter what 2 stroke we use? Also the guy that sold me the seadoo told me for every 50L of gas we burn which is 1 tank of gas, we should put 1L of 2 stroke oil. Is that normal? I know they both mix and burn, but does it burn that much? Any help will be appreciated. Thanx.

It might help to tell us which 2 stroke you have.

    Welcome to the forum!

Use the search feature...oil has been hammered into the ground.

You want a low ash synthetic, like BRP XP-S. That helps keep the RAVE valves from getting gucked up.

many use amsoil HPinjector, or interceptor. alot cheaper than seadoo oil. buy it by the case direct from amsoil, sign up for preffered customer discount and its around 25 dollars a gallon shipped. 4 gallons /case.

Amsoil HP Injector oil is available at Canadian Tire which is a lot easier to find than the local Seadoo dealer and they are open on Sundays. Does your ski still have the oil pump or is it premix? If it still has the oil pump, make sure you keep an eye on the oil level and don't let it get below the seam on the oil tank and you will be fine.

I buy a case of the Amsoil at the beginning of every season from the local Amsoil Dealer. It works out to be $8/litre instead of $12 a litre at Canadian Tire including our crazy taxes. However, there have been times when I have used Canadian Tire in a pinch.

My vote for AMSOIL, I've always had good luck with it. Otherwise I would use the BRP oil..

If you use AMSOIL(I do) use the interceptor, NOT the Injector.
They have differnt types of oil for different applications.

i used hpi on two 787's for years, never had a problem... some will argue, its not right, blah blah blah, but many others have used it also, and everyone agreed it was fine.
