    Pump shoe sealing with ski flipped

    What is the best way to seal the pump and shoe while the ski is upside down? I am truing the hull and want to get it all togeher for measuring...

    I was thinking weights.. maybe 50 lbs?

    well as you probably know most use a floor jack to support the shoe when being sealed,,, so thats roughly half the skis weight being applied to it....

    so id think more than 50 lbs would be needed..... or just mock up the shoe to get whatever measurements you need then flip the ski back over and do the floor jack trick...
