Used Kerry Package Plate?
A week or so ago, I bought a used Kerry plate from WFO on here... A couple of questions about it though!
It's a RIVA plate, and it's got skegs and paint. I was planning on stripping the paint off and sanding the riding surfaces smooth. What's peoples' experiences on the Kerry-machined plate?
I've read around already (there's a great post by joeblo on Kerry vs Jims plates), but wasn't satisfied with the answers I saw.
Reading around, I saw that if you bought one of Kerry's plates, he would provide you with the info you needed on setting it up correctly. The question is, do you all think this would apply to used rideplates, too?

I had a used plate that I sent to Jim to fine tune, strip and machine. Jim did wonders with it. the specs were exactly what I requested, not to mention the perfect machine work involved.

And thanks for the link, philip! I had read a good deal about the angle theory and dialing in the rideplates, but didn't get a chance to read your post on the 1530 project... looks like you updated some stuff from the blue ski project info post.
