i have the riva performance intake which was pretty simple to install, if you do lots of ocean riding i'd say that you should get the same one I got but also the power filter kit is easily converted to the performance kit, all you have to do is call riva and get a bracket. i guess its worth the extra $$$ but i was in the same boat you are and i wanted something easy to put back to stock for warrenty reasons so i got what i got.

By the R&D flat filter cold air kit, take the hoses off the stock intake and instead of using the filters on the blowoff valve and relief valve stick them on the intake where the hoses connected.

Much better than any intake you will buy.
