    Spark plug wire size?

Are they 8mm? I need to buy a new boot for the spark plug wire for the 3rd cylinder (mine was split open because I didn't torque the nut for the stud on the stinger enough and it vibrated loose which split the boot). Needless to say it shocked the $hit out of me and the ski misses under load. i was gonna just buy a new boot rather than 1 60 dollar plug wire so i need to know what will fit.
    thanks
    Chris

    Stock wires are 7 mm
get yourself a set of msd 8 mm wires, I bought a set for $85 it had 8 wires sold 4 to nate for half price. And on both of our ski's you could feel that it idled better and hole shot was more crisp and responded better.

Just curious but can you buy 8mm plugs lets say at advance autoparts and use them on your ski? Would you have to Mod the wires?

If anyone gets some wires, I'll throw some money in and break them up.

That's the way to do it Kris split the cost, It ends up costing you a little over $40 to do you ski.

Not a bad idea. Curious, Can you use a little silicone to cover up the rip area on the boot? Just an idea so don't go nuts on me

This is the route I went when I replaced my wires to relocate my cdi. Each one has everything you need. @$14 a wire.

I wouldnt just because a $14.00 wire would save you a lot of head aches when you find out that you are going to go on the lake and no spark.

Thanks for everyones posts. I noticed Jerry is selling what looks like MSD wires for a 3 cylinder for like 43 bucks so I'm prob gonna order those up or see if one of my local gpr buddies wants to split a set for 6cyl.
Quick question, how do u get the CDI box open to take the wires off ?
