Thread: RXP-X grate

Hey, guys. I just purchased an RXP-X from Riva that has a few parts that they put on it for photo shoot. All improvements were free, since they put it in the water for the photo shoot. They couldn't tell me if the grate had been changed or not. Can anyone tell me if the stock grate looks like this? The Riva grate on their site looks identical to the one I have on the boat, but I wasn't sure if they look similar with different geometry. I didn't think the Riva grate was available yet. Thanks.

Well, it did 85 behind my truck-lol. Unfortunately I haven't had it in the water yet. I bought it on Monday and this whole job thing is getting in the way of my personal life, so I will have some info for you guys after this weekend.
The parts that it has on it that I'm aware of are air intake system, sponsons, and now the grate. I'm trying to get them to dig up all that was done to it, but no luck yet.
I'm excited-I've never ridden a 4-stroke PWC before. I used to race the 785 class, and it took a lot of work and money to get my '97 SPX to run 69.8 and 1.9 sec 0-50.

I wonder if the entire stage 1 kit is on your ski? Also check the reduction nozzle which is the nozzle that you can see if you look through the steering nozzle. If there is a silver band around the edge then it is the adjustable pro nozzle. This will be interesting to see if it is a stage 1 ski. If not just the difference in stock vs stock w/grate will be nice. Keep us posted!!
