    Coolant question?

While riding the wifes ski the other day the blower hose popped off. Damned stock clamps. Anyway. We were out aways and idled back to the ramp which took about a hour and a half to two hours. I have since used t-bolt clamps to fix the problem but I noticed that there was some coolant in the hull and my level in the tank is down JUST below the "Here-Cold Line". I looked all over the place and couldn't find a leak. Could it have come out somehow because of the hose popping off? Overheating a little? Or should I be looking for a leak in some other places? Also, I need to add some coolant, which should I buy? Thanks for any help.

It probally came out of that clear hose at the top of the bottle... it just drains into the hull.

if it didn't overheat or spillout the overflow, it's simple. You've got a coolant leak. Check the hoses going to and from the rideplate and the thermostat housing area.

Thanks for the heads up. I will have to look tonight. I can figure out the rideplate but not sure of where the thermostat housing is. Could you point me in the right direction? Could the hose popping off of caused it to overheat at all? I didn't get any warnings but I guess that doesn't mean it didn't get hot, I guess. Thanks.

The supercharger hose popping off would not cause the engine to overheat in any way.

I dont have a pic of the thermostat but if you look next to the supercharger you will see it. Big hose running directly into it from the pump.
