    SL 900 rebuild almost Starts!

So I got my update kit on, and I have spark now! The problem is, I am getting no fuel! I have the see through hose so I can see that nothing is coming from the fuel pickup. I think the fuel should enter one of the lines that connects to the 2 fuel pumps, then they feed the middle carb, correct? The only line with fuel in it right now is the return line from the middle carb...but I think that might just be gas that was gravity pulled (that line isnt even full of gas there is some air in it).

The main line that goes into the fuel seperator and shutoff valve has no gas in it, and it doesnt seem to trying to creep up the line when i turn the engine over.. Does a gas line need to be bled?

When I spray a gas oil mix into the carb throats it fires right up though so that was a huge day for me to have my first ever engine rebuild actually turn over!

How can I get that gas flowing?! thanks!

Try cranking while holding your hand over a carb at a time to prime them.
    Have you checked the compression?

Can you show or draw us a photo of the fuel line routing?
Maybe you have a couple of switched lines?

    - The Green line running from the fuel pickup is the air valves etc

    - The bottom left grey image is the water seperator

    - The top middle image is the fuel shutoff valve

    - The pulse lines are not overly long (8 -10 inches) and they are attached correctly to the block

    - I didnt bother including the acceplerator pump lines

    Got it working!

I swapped the two lines at the fuel pickup and gas immediately started flowing...so I guess the return line needs to go into a specific inlet on the sender?

Thanks very much to everybody who helped me through the rebuilding of this engine, couldn't have done it without you! I'll have pictures up soon when all the hydroturf etc is on.
