I was told by Shibby that the rev limiter kicks in at 7650 on the 155 4-TEC engines. Impros said that I should be at or just above 7500 at WOT.

I was out on the lake yesterday and was at the same rpm. Speed was 46-48 mph with the wind blowing pretty good.

I went with the Solas Concord 11/19. Much better mid range and decent hole shot. Mot much improvement on the top end but I lost about 200 RPM's by switching. I'm turning 7150 on the port-side and 6850 on the starboard-side. I'm sending them into Impros in the next few weeks to get them both dialed in at 7500-7550. Should get me a couple of MPH on the top end and better hole shot.

    Engine RPM

Hey spd5535, why is it that both our Utopias run less rpm on the starboard side engine? When I am at WOT, I can hardly keep the boat straight as it is pulling so hard to the starboard side. Engine RPM's are at 7100 Starboard and 7400 Portside. Back off the trottle just a little, and she straightens out and seems to drive better. Both engines at 7500 from the start. I have tried to adjust the throttle cables but to no avail. Any advise?
