just hook an OS 540 electric motor to the speedo wheel with a 1400mah battery.
the speedo will read 85mph and youll be feeling fine
or just take heed to what Kev says

I did those mod's you listed plus one of Jim's modified ride plate and got a friends 140 going 58.5 mph on calm water.

Stock for stock, the FX might have 30 hp more, but it's also 145lb heavier on the '08 models. The FX is also also a bit longer, so with the larger hull and extra weight you would probably beat him in rougher water while enjoying a more comfortable ride. We gps'd my friends stock VX Cruiser at 53.

The power-to-weight ratios are almost IDENTICLE(the vx is actually a little better) while the FX 140 has 998cc and the vx110 has 1052cc .
