Any Limiters or Governors on RXT/RXP
Do the RXT's and RXP's have any type of limiters or governors? I know there's an RPM limiter on the stock ECU around 8300 I think. Are there anymore? Or did they just build it to run ~65MPH and stop there?
I ask because my friend has a Honda Aquatrax and he has triple limiters (one on RPM, one on speed, and something else).
On a side note: I ran into a guy with an '06 RXT he just purchased. He said the salesman told him there was a governor on it and without it the ski would run 100MPH. Not sure who's full of it: the guy who bought it or the salesperson. I'm sure if that was the case one of you guys would've figured it out and half of the people on this board would be dead.

the rev limiter at 8200 is it. it won't run any faster without modifying the ski, simply raising the rev limit won't get you any faster and 100 mph is BS.

its only in the ecu. 8200 i beleive for the 06 model
and NO ski is capablie of 100 or one of the hulky's would have allready done it.

So now I guess all we need to do is find out where that governor is and remove it.Seriously though there is a rev limiter on the RXT and RXP and to increase that requires modifications and changing the ECU.
