new service bulletin issued today May 9 2008.
**Fuel Vent Hose Chafing**
"Problem- Under some circumstances a fuel vent hose may wear and eventually pierce due to the friction with the steering stem arm. If a fuel hose is pierced, fuel may spill out and can create fire hazard. This could potentially cause serious injuries or death."
please see bulletin for effected units. please call your dealer and set-up a appointment to get this issue resolved.

Thanks for the great update. Someone needs to make this a sticky. I would hate to see someone get hurt due to this issue.

Mines on the list and i have just found out after returning from a 350 mile round trip to get the 10 hour service , I cant f*****g beleive it.

Save yourself a trip to the dealer.
I just checked my fuel lines and they were installed and routed correctly. My HIN was in the service bulletin list.
Read the service bulletin. Pull the front bucket, you can tell if its okay from there. If it needs to be done ,then take it to the dealer for repair.
I think Sea-Doo is just CYAing, which is good because who wants to catch on fire or blow up.

How do you take the glove compartment out?
I tried looking thru the front compartment , but wasnot sure if everything was okay.
