Xspower intercooler water lines and side threads

On the xspower intercooler does it matter where the water lines go front or back in and out and secondly what did you guys do about plugging up the 2 holes on the side of it, did you use these for mounting or just plugged them up.

mounts for the 2 side holes, it really won`t matter which way you hook them up but I would go inlet front.

I had the water go out where the air connections are and in on the back.
Think the other way would be better ?

I was thinking it would have more cold water and with it being tilted back it would collect a little better back there.

excess... I also used the side holes for mounting (well, one of them), just make sure you seal them because the holes do extend into the intake air flow.

My xspower flows front to back also...In my opinion you want coolest water on the intake side of the intercooler...does it make a difference performance wise hmmm...guess one of us will have to reverse them and see.

sorry guys but im a little confused when you say front to back.

I take it the front is where the air inlet and outlets are and the back where it is just solid???

then mine goes back to front. I've already cut my hoses to fit. Not sure if I'd be flipping them anytime soon. Still have the thermostat install and VE engine mounts, then thru hull on my plate.
