So, for almost 40 large, I could have placed fourth at Mudbug?

Think your missing the point. its a closed course boat. for 40G's you'll be coming out of the split neck and neck with Farthing. well that is if you have the Balls to dive it into the first corner closing in on 80 with 8 other boats going near 80 right behind you if you eject yourself.
    Sweet boat.

do we have acceleration times on an EMS RXP... or specifically Dan's RXP for that matter... how quick can dan get that RXP up to 80 ... just curious what boat would holeshot the other so i can put this into perspective in my mind... the Macc 15F or JDs RXP ... or Kerry for that matter

Be realistic, those skis come from years of research that were held by kawasaki factory racing on a little to no budget limit.

No such research has been done on the RXP, even by Dettori and Rotax Racing.

There's no beating a macc racing 15F SC... JD1 knows it very well, that's why he has one of those closed course boats trying to transform it in a drag racer...

    I forecast a solid 90.

I agree with you 100% 11, BUT... buyer beware!!! You know as well as I that once John Q. Public drops 40 large on one of those and tries running around all week on that thing it's going to be disastrous.

Well I know someone who works there, they are very clear on what those boats can do, and even clearer on what they cannot do.

They're meant for big budget teams or very rich privateers, the last 15F SC macc racing sent out was going 86 in closed course trim, but that's on race gas and no reliability warranty, they're meant to last one weekend on a racing event, one day at the world finals due to tighter settings.

They're the shit, but they're not turn key rec boats.

    Exactly!

I can just see some member of the general public getting one and running some 87 octane because that's all that was available to him at the time, all while doing nose subs and then wondering why it only lasted 10 minutes.

That's all that I was really saying...

Well if you spend 40k in one of those you better not destroy it using shitty gas...
