This speed seem about right for an RXPX?

66.8 on GPS in a moderate chop, ski is bone stock and had a half tank of gas. I would suppose it would pick up 3 or so on calm waters?

How many hours on the ski? i didn't really hit mine hard full WOT for about 15 seconds until about 5 hours and hit a gps best of 70.1. I never hit over 53 during the first 5 hours. I never held wot for more than 5 seconds though.

The Chop could be hindering u 2.

What are your rpms? Check the oil, it may be overfilled from the dealer... Ron

I'd do a reverse bucket mod, get oil level right and fill ride plate holes should hit 69-70.... NOW listen closely on the oil level check! Crank the ski let idle{only} for 30 seconds and kill it. Let sit 30 seconds then check oil. Thats the best way I've been taught and seems to be very accurate....

Half way between the bends, after a warm up. Check it a few times.
