Ride Plate Data - R&D, RIVA, TBM?,.....
Would those that have one or both the current ride plates (R&D/RIVA), out as of this moment be so kind to provide the angle on the plate as shown in the pic?
This would require an angle finder or protractor - see pics.
If you use the magnetic kind, please be sure to level the "flat" part of the plate perfectly by using your trailer jack before taking the reading.

according to my "Dasco Pro Angle Finder", the first step after the level section (middle section) is 4 degrees, and the rear step is 5 degrees. This is for the R & D plate.
Stock plate is showing about 3 degrees at the single rear step.
Dont know how accurate this level finder is.

Its just not about the "ramp" angle, there is also difference in the bolt boss's also..........that actually angle of the whole ride plate.........

Thanks Harry, I'm glad you mentioned it. Had I tried to explain up front anything different, it would have got confusing....So.....If we got the craft "engine level" on trailer then took the angle finder to the "level" part of the plate closest to the bow - what is that angle, in addition?
This will require the angle finder.
