ODNR gets new watercraft

GREEN — The Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ (ODNR) Division of Watercraft now has two new lifesaving tools.
The new watercraft, the 2008 Ultra® LX JET SKI, provided by Midwest Motorsports of Green, offers improved fuel economy and a quieter exhaust, according to company officials.
“We plan to use the two Kawasaki JET SKI watercraft with our education, enforcement and rescue programs this upcoming season,” said Pamela Dillon, chief of the Division of Watercraft.
Following successful use of JET SKI watercraft by life-saving and marine enforcement agencies across the United States, Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A. implemented an ongoing loan program allowing dealers to provide the watercraft to qualified agencies across the country for up to one year.
Midwest Motorsports arranged the loan and will service the watercraft.
This is the 19th year for the law enforcement loan program.
