    Question 98 GSX

How do these things run. What type of top end do they have? They look like a lotta fun. And how much should they sell for? Thanks!

Normal pricing is $2500-$3500 for a nice one. They typically run 61-62 for the 98 and up 951's. The 96-97 and 99-2000 785 motor equipped gsx run about 55mph.

what type of mods can I do to a 951 to make the thing a bit quicker. Also, how are they in chop? Anything I could do to make it have better hook-up like an intake grate or something? I ride mainly on Lake Michigan where its generally a bit choppy from boat wakes. Here is the link to the one I want to bid on http://www.biddingatauction.com/list...mnum=818015481

Is there an OEM store or any way to get black rub rail to replace the purple? Thats the first thing I would want to do, replace all the purple EDIT: Also, is there an UMI set-up for the GSX?
    Thanks for all the input

Great ski for wave jumping and just playing around-- if setup properly. UMI is available, but pricy. The rub rails can be switched out by finding a used set from a '97+ GTX ski-- they are longer-- just cut them down, corner bumpers are the same, not sure on the front bumper. The GSXL is very easy to work on and used parts are readily available -- excluding the engine cases...

The machine can be easily modded to hole shot stock RXP's by a few ski lengths 0-55 mph or so-- AND the bottoms do NOT delamanate like the RXPs.

Drop me an pm if interested.
