first tripple pipe run. Help got problems.
Got some problems. Pv motor keeps circulating so when my ski sits, I have to unplug it. it circulates and acts like its fighting to circulate farther but I cant adjust them anymore. the threads are all the way out.
But took the tripple pipe 1200 out. 13/19 grate on plus my mods in sig. Was running way rich so rejetted. It gets up fast as hell but only hitting about 7380 tops. Its not even getting into the powerband or whaterever. I should be spinning the crap out of that impeller. Dno what the deal is inless pipe is busted, rings bad or can the powervalve not opening up drop me 4 or 500 rpms. thanx
Doing compresion check prolly tomorrow and trying to find away to check my tiny tach. Got to get this fixed asap so I can send off my other impeller and get it back for mudbug.

compression good. taking out hopefully tomorrow to manually open powervalves to see if I can get lost rpms.

i would say either a cracked pipe or the power valve motor

My guess is the PV system being screwed up.
What jetting do you have and is this a ported 1200 or stock??

Pipes were guaranteed to be good and I trust the guy. It runs way to good to be a cracked pipe it just doesnt have the rpms on top. Im running 135 highs and 110 lows. I had bigger jets in but it was way to fat. Im thinkin pv motor also. Water was way to rough and way to much debrie in the water to get good rpm readings on top today. I opened the valves manually to see if that was were the lost rpms was. I think we may take it out tomorrow. If my pv motor keeps circulating when sitting on trailer and I cant adjust them to get them to stop then I need a new pv motor right?

A couple of ideas to check....
-You possibly have water inside the pins of the power valve electrical connector. Unplug it, blow it out, and put in dielectric grease and reassemble.
-Verify you didn't put the pv cables on backwards too.

Why not unplug the PV motor then rotate the valves in the open position. You will have no bottom end but you should have top speed RPMs.
Sorry but it sounds like a leak in #3 pipe to me (just a guess). Time for a pressure test.
Send it back to FP. Gotta love their warranty - they still honor it?
Sorry been away for a while.....

You've got to much prop. Don't even think about 14/20.
With tripple pipes you actually need to pitch down to 12/18 because you want to be hitting 7800 rpm not 7100 rpm.
I have a similiar setup.
Mine is hitting 7850rpm with a Concord 12/18 and stock pump.
Punching 80mph (haven't GPSed it in a while)
