Hot Seat Water Box for Pro 1200
I called hot seat the other day and they said that a 2000 SLX and a 2000 Pro 1200 take the same water box. I remember looking at this last year and didn't think it would fit in the Pro. I have my Pro up north right now so I can't look again. Anyone know if they are the same?

No they are not the same but you can put a Pro waterbox in an SLX

wrong answer hans, the pro1200 has an offset inlet and offset outlet, the mounting positon is different as well, tdr has one on ebay, the stock pro waterbox is a highflow unit and you absolutly won't gain jack by changing it except noise.why???because the stocker was made to run with the factory pipe triples,in the kit there is a 3" inlet piece meant to be put in place of the 2 1/4 inlet.the stocker is also a smaller diameter than a stock 1200 unit.send your money to hot seat and when you see it won't fit send it back and take a chance on not getting a full refund.the tdr one on ebay has a pic, that one will definately fit but gonna be LOUD for sure and no gains.ever wonder why the stocker is angle cut at the exit point???why the outlet runs at an angle to the thru hull fitting??

o'kay i'm clueless,i spent 250.00 for a custom tdr unit for my pro1200 when i could've use something just like the hot seat one in my virage tx,funny thing is it doesn't come close to fitting,so do what ya like, you have been properly informed be me.maybe a stock pro1200 one could be jammed into a slx, unlikely considering its about 5" longer, outlets moved to the front, and the inlets offset, hot seat pro 785 box,has 3"inlet won't fit a stock pipe.call hot seat, order away, make sure you can get all your money back including return shipping up front, cuz it ain't gonna fit the stock red pipe in a pro hull

o'kay let me know when and if hot seat ever decideds to start making one???i talked to them a long time ago and they told me the slx one would fit as well,B.S.not gonna happen, they make one for the slx, virage tx lineup with a domestic and a pro785 version, not just one for a pro1200,and the first post he was told the slx and pro take the same one as well.guess it possible to mount a pro1200 waterbox in a slx if jetskimn says it'll go guess it'll go any benifit???if so got one in the attic pay shipping and its yours

Thanks for the info I remember looking at my Pro last year and thinking that there was no way the hot seat water box would fit in there. Will the Pro 785 one work in a pro 1200?
