    Exhaust Clamps

I have the RIVA Waterbox and Free Flow and I am antsy how it says to re use the old hose clamps in fear they could come loose. I was thinking about going to T Bolt Clamps. What size is our exhaust so I know which size to buy and has anyone on here done this as well or do you guys feel safe using the hose clamps?

    exhaust

I just installed the Riva exhaust kit for my 07. I had a bead welded on the end of the factory pipe that you have to cut. Of course after doing this, i hear they have a new kit that eleminates the need to cut. Anyways, i dont think you should have a problem. If you got the same exhaust kit that i have, where you have to cut the factory aluminum pipe, then yeah i would put a bead on there before installing the silicone coupler and clamp. After i iinstalled my exhaust, i ran it on the water hose and then at the river. No problems so far. good luck.

As long as the 2 surfaces are free of any lube ,
and after you have hose run the ski or river run for 5-10 min to get every thing hot and soft.

just retighten the clamps and everything will be OK

at the end of the day if its tight it WONT come off ( just dont strip the clamp in the process from being heavy handed)
