I would skip Lake Arcadia and spend more time on Murray. Murray is a great lake.

What lake in Alexandria? I didn't know they had one. Are you talkin' Indian Creek?

The only place north of Morgan city in LA where water (river) meets our route. May pass it to get to the big party early.

Depending on which way you go, I highly recommend Lake Dunlop here just North of San Antonio. It's actually the Guadalupe River, just East of I-35 in New Braunfels. If you take I-10 (which you have to take to Morgan City regardless), I would stop and ride Dunlop. IMHO, it's the best place to ride of all the places I've riden in Texas (and I've riden in a lot places). To me, it's a "rider's" river and a PWC enthusiasts lake. The water is very calm and you can do a lot of things out there on your ski. Of the near 10 years I've been riding, the only other place that was better were the bayous of Morgan City at last year's MB.

Forget Ray Roberts, it's a fishing lake. Like GPRgasm said Lake Lewisville on Sat or Sun. It's a big party, a lot of fun for sure!
Definitely, lets get together on Lewisville. That's my lake! I'm 2 minutes from it.

Tell us more at MudBug. Can't find Lake Dunlop 300 miles south of our route I-20 (Dallas). Stick a pin in it on Swamp Kings Google Maps. Trying to avoid crossing the massive desert from California so as not to cook my little F350 hauling 18,000 lbs by going an extra 500 miles. Maybe on the way home 16-17th? We can put the dirt bike on the trailer, instead of the front bumper, and drive at night.
