water in pump
Just put my riva power filter on and was doing a wear ring turn around and pulled the cone to put more grease and it had water in it. So I cleaned and washed it out with some degreaser and will change the orings and put more grease and see what will happen. What would be a good replacment grease equal to the seadoo pump grease?

Just looked at the seal point around the cone that fits into the pump and it looks rough. That might be the problem I hope and not the front seal.Does anybody know what can replace the seadoo pump grease.

Put the pump on its end, and fill it with oil and put the cap on.
I did it that way before my Skat mod and it works way better than the grease.
Or drill and tap the cone you can find the plug at a good hardware store.
You can put some epoxy at the bottom of the hole in the cone to give the plug something to bottom out into.

Good Synthetic 75/90w
Mobil 1 is easy to find and I have never had a problem.
If you do the drill and tap thing you then have the ability to pressure test the pump.
Make sure you get as much grease out as possible and change the oil after your first ride as you will never get out all of the grease the first time.
You will be able to tell there is way less resistance when you do the change.

Ok,I packed the pump cone full of grease and would the bearing need to come out to pack it full of grease or is there a better way to get the grease in the bearing.I sqeezed the tip of the tube of grease on the bearing hoping to push grease in there but not sure if thats enuff.

Will pulled the pump and cone off and there's water in the grease, that suck's because I'll have to fix that first before I change my SC clutch.
