What if I put my RXP 10 vane on my '98 GSX 6 vane
I had my nozzle off the GSXL and see that my RXP would bolt right up to the pump. The nozzle of the RXP has a much bigger outlet plus it's a 10 vane rather than the 6 vane GSX...so what will happen? Loss of holeshot?

I would even be surprised it bolts, the pump diameters being different.

you probably wouldn't have enough power to spin the prop to get any performance.

It's weird and I wouldn't have even thought about it had I not taken the '98 nozzle off and my stock RXP was sitting right there on the bench. I held them up back to back and they are the same (with the exception of the reverse hook). I just measured and the RXP is exactly 1/4" smaller in diameter.

I agree with you 11 and I wouldn't have even imagined them being the same pattern, but if I didn't see it with my own eyes...now I'm feeling duped on the RXP pump if the '98 is the same...
