I guess that is a no? I have a manual, and it only gives the ohm tests. My meters do not have the scales specified to use the charts in my book or the online ones. I wanted to know if anyone knows how to test a coil other than by resistance?

I will hazard another guess that you are one of those who does not read the question fully, and throws out what they assume is an answer and follows it up with a smart remark?

    Welcome to the forum

Down here in Texas we have a saying... "you get more bees with honey..."

With that attitude you are not going to get any cooperation what so ever.

Why dont you start by telling us what kind of boat you have, what your problem is, and maybe what you are trying to accomplish ?
