    Supercharger belt

    Well yesterday my Supercharger Belt broke in pieces while riding.,......Now can anyone help because I'm afraid of the supercharger been locked..i tried spinning it and it does turn although the tensioner is kinda hard to turn and since this charger is the clutch kind maybe its locked and soon as the clutch kicks in! what should i do!!????? any input would be gladly appreciated

    Well it's good news if the charger turns....you may have just burned up the idler bearing.

    There IS NO CLUTCH on this supercharger.

    there goes my mad max red clutch lever I was going to install...... ;-]

    I don't know if you fixed it yet, but last year mine broke and I had to be towed to shore. Anyway I fixed it myself. It wasn't that difficult after I got all the info from the Kawasaki Recall periodical.

    Just be careful not to drop the engine out of place, then you'll be in mess!

    When the belt breaks, the engine shuts off and you have to be towed?? I would have hoped that you can get in with no boost at least. How many hours did you have when your belt broke.
