SS IC Pipe (Riva Replacement)
I found my intake side oblonged last week so I ordered a 2 1/2" SS mandrel bent "J" pipe from Jegs.
$24 and I have enough left to maybe make the other side as well.
Only thing is I am going to have to take it to a muffler shop and have it expanded on the ends as the OD is smaller than the plastic, bit the i.d. is the same.

Beautiful. Do you have a link to where we can order this?

I will Post some pics of it expanded tomorrow.
I also am not 100% sure there is enough bend left to do the other side.
If you wan to be sure order 2 "J" bends.

looks as if he cut it already. If your going to do pipe yourself, then go get a pipe expander from harbor freight. They are cheap and you get to keep the tool. A shop will probably charge you the same. This is to make the "slightly" flared end so the hose won`t slip off.

Hoss, I tried using one a Borla exhaust that I rented from Auto Zone.
That thing would not flare the pipe at all. I ended up breaking the damn thing so I had to buy it
The guy that flared it at the shop had never done stainless, he said "wow that is some strong stuff"
That was T304 I don't know if this is as hard or not.
I was going to get it bent locally and the guy said his machine would kink it @ 15%.
I figured you would be the guy to ask if that was true or BS.
This did cut a lot easier than the Borla one of those things may work on this??

You just want to flare the edge,,,barely, not enough to cut through the hose. Depends on his bender and basically dies. 15 degrees won`t kink it. No way. 15 is nothing. If need be send me your plastic one and I`ll make you an exact stainless piece. It won`t be mandrel but at that angle it really won`t matter.
Anyone messing with a throttle body spacer yet?

Well it did not work(:
I went to get it expanded and he told me that it may split
Well it did the first side never got large enough anyway.
So I have already found an aluminum supplier that sells prebent pollished 45 degree bends with a 2.75" od which should just work?
I will order one and get it on the way and try it out and post some results.

The pipe guys was out of stock and rather than keep looking I got a 5ply silicone 45.
It was one of the few places I could find with 6" legs on both sides of the bend.
I hope this works???
I got the 2.75" and 6 of their clamps to use on other places.

How much is he expanding it? That split like a mofo. I`m using 409 out of Canada.
