well its home. Just brought it in the driveway. Man did they cram all that crap in a small hull. I tell you its going to be fun getting to anything. Can I say chewed up knuckles. Well thats the price I pay. Hey look on the bright side its going to be a lot more fun than my honda.

Oh and by the way While I am bringing up the Honda thing. For all the Honda bashers out there and for all the Honda people who think I went to the dark side.

I look at it like this. My Honda was bad a*s never gave me problems, always started, was pretty quick for what it was, great gas MPG, turned on a dime (well thats mostly because I know how to ride). And was built real well. Oh yea and I had fun which is all we want out of our toys. To forget about lifes daily BullSh*t

BUT now I want more and when I had my Ultra 150 back in the day I remember what hair on the back of the neck was like. I had about 8K in aftermarket in that thing and man could it move. So here I am with an RXP-X. and fun I will have.

Sorry for the long message but I figured I woul dgo ahead and say my peace.

    OUT!!!!!

Thanks. 1st thing I did today was pull off all those insane stickers. I have never seen so many stickers in my life. I got to give BRP some credit on there marketing camp. about ever 8 to 10 square inches there is some reference to BRP, Sea-Doo or RXP-X. Nothing against them I just like clean lines. Its and even better looking boat without the sticky. I can actually see some paint now.

Damn I should have balled it all up and put it on my UPS scale. Who knows how much all that crap weighed. Not to mention the aerodynamics. (JK!!!!!)

Taking it out to lake tomarrow to break her in.

    OUT!!!!

Nice choice, I don't think you'll be disappointed. How about posting some pics of your stickerless X? I've thought of this as well, just haven't done anything about it yet. Thanx.

Yea no problem. I should be getting a bunch of pics up. I didnt take any before I took the stickers off but I am shure its not a problem to see the difference.

Oh by the way just got back from the lake and was able to put 5 hours on her. I tell you what!!!!! I was very impressed..... I will do a write up on it later. Also for the 1st couple of hours bored as hell....You know how that goes when you are breakin in one of these things.

A few things I noticed that I am going to have to fix as I am anal retentive. There is about 1/4 inch worth of play in the throttle that seems to bug me for some reason. The reverse handle vibrates like crazy. I think I will try to find some kind of rubber bump stop to fix that issue. when using reverse to slow your self down when re trailering or fine tuning your aproach to the dock. It likes to kick sideways for some reason. I think that might have something to do with the OPAS wings or the reverse bucket. I also noticed that the reverse bucket covers up the nozzle by about 1/4" I guess a dremel tool will have to be aplied to that issue. Oh yea and for some reason and this maybe the guys who set up the ski at the dealership but if you have your handle bars straight the ski wants to hunt right. I am thinking that maybe a fine tune adjustment on the handle bars or the steerling linkage to the noxzzle might have to be adjusted.

And I would really like to get what ever parts are needed to add the depth finder option to my Boat. If anyone knows where I can get that. I know it comes on the GTX limited and my dealer said that they dont even have a part number for that. I also noticed an un used check valve behind the instrument cluster as well I supose thats to keep water out. But I dont know.

Not bad......not bad at all. I love this thing.... Cant wait until full break in so I can really abuse the SH*T out of it.

Hey man!! I do remember you!! Hope all is well. Amy and I now have a Baja Islander out on Lay Lake. We go out there about every other weekend. We put in at Beeswax and ride down to the rock by the dam. We usually eat lunch at Lay Port Marina.

Come find us, our boat is midnight blue / white / and some red mixed in.
