Bling, to change the paint color all depends if you get new parts first and have them paited or just take the ones off that you have and paint those. Mine was more expensive then jerry due to me buing all the new components. My old stuff is all black now and on Jerry's ski. The painting in itself only costed me $300, but getting the compontes is what killed me. Other then that, it was not to bad. Hope this help's some.

When you remove all the other parts, just remove the 6 screws that are holding it on. The plastic that is under the foam is help on to the ski by those six screws. Do not try to pull the faom off to remove the plastic though, those six screws actually go into the foam. It is easy to get to though once you have all the other fairing parts and the hood off. Now only other thing I recommend and I said the same thing to Jerry when he asked, is to make sure that your tools are on a line attached to you so they do not drop into your ski, I almost did that but thankfully I had it attached to a line on my wrist.

I have not seen a blue one yet, I would find a shade of blue that you like and test it first to make sure that it will look good, so not sure on a paint code. As for the grab bar and rub rails, I am not sure how you would paint those. i know there are paints out there for bumpers and such that might work, but make sure you check with a local paint place first to make sure that it will hold up in the water.

I used black SEM spray paint on my green grab bar and the cushion on the seat cover thing. There is also Krylon Fusion.
