Should I trade or sell outright?

Family is going to get a new boat should we trade the ski in or sell it outright? Got the NADA values with all of my uprades and such and it came out to be around 11000 fr the ski and trailer as a NADA value for LOW RETAIL...so ya think they would give me 8500 or 9000 for it? or should I just sell it outright? thanks!

I can`t see a dealership giving you anything above wholesale or especially loan value. Sell outright.

even selling it outright privately... i'd be shocked if u got over 9k for it... well 9 MIGHTbe do-able

your best selling places are gonna be boattrader.com and ebay ... also try craigslist.com

    u'd get about $6000 on a trade-in

forget NADA, it's more-so for insurance company useage... it's so unrealistic... KBB.com is a little more "real world"

Kbbs price is 8515...without the mods and trailer...so 9000 should be doable..right?

AJ, selling it outright is best, and be patient, the season is just getting going!

Bring it to your riding place with a for sale sign on it and hang around, ya never know!...PR...

I would take all the aftermarket parts off and sell them separately.

Put the ski back to stock if you can and sell it that way.

You're really going to be pushing to get $9k out of it...

I bought a 04 RXP with 35 hours in February with trailer for $7k...Obviously I got lucky and that's awful low for what it was but it seems I've seen lot's of them going on Ebay for below $9k with trailer...

Maybe you'll get that but it'll be a uphill battle for sure...

And you'll be better off taking it back to stock...Most buyers will look at mods as a de-valuing thing...It's the rare buyer that will take already present mods as a bonus...Remeber...the people you deal with on here daily (who are generally mod freaks) are far and away the very small percentage of riders...
