I have a 1300r I dont know which adjustments do what for the sponsons can some one give me the run down please thanks alot guys

there is only one position you will ever need...stepped position...use the search function and its there buddy... even better its a free mod

For stock search for stepped. If you want a ski that turns you need to go aftermarket.

Search for 'danny sponsons' on the Yamaha forums, I hear that he (Danny) makes an excellent set of sponsons that do the job of both stepped sponsons and aftermarket models.

thanks again does the sponsons affect only handling or does it affect top speed as well

just turning, there out of the water at full throttle going straight.
i stepped mine, it got rid of the pourpising. easy to do. Just drill out the center hole front up and the back down

Topend and holeshot..
pump seal kit with shoe properly sealed to hull
riva trim tabs/stock trim tabs spaced down with 2 washers
Jims FF plate
Milled stock head
free flow exhaust
14/20 DF/HO Pump
rossnemo "sonic boom" throttle body mod
This setup should put you in the 74/75 mph range and stay pretty reliable..
