Can Riva Stage l kit be installed on my own?

Hey guys....I was just wondering if a Riva Stage l Kit could be installed by myself in the garage or does it need to go to a shop to have the work done? If i can do it on my own is there any special tools i would need or anthing that I would have to keep in mind while i'm doing it?

It is a fairly easy job to do, you will need the impeller tool. About the hardest part is removing the factory air intake and mounting the 3" Riva system. That is really not that hard, just time consuming the first time around.

Does the air intake change to sound at all? I wanna keep it sounding just like stock is possible?

Yes. You can hear the SC sucking in more air under the seat. But from people around you it's not that noticible. It's not a dead give away that you have a modded ski to other riders, and you can still easily think and have a conversation with another rider.

I prefer the longer SD tool, it is much easier to work with. It is a lot better if you need to bend your prop some also.
